A new start-up, Lasercut Designs challenged the norm by asking a question. How can we breathe new life into a product that might otherwise be thrown on the fire? Thanks to this ingenious brand, when a tree hits their workshop, its journey is far from over. It might become a chopping board, an educational toy, a company sign, or a kiwiana souvenir. This wonderful repurposing ethos required us to develop a brand identity to match. We needed to honour the environment from where the timber is sourced and celebrate its unique aesthetic.
